About Wynn Macau Casino and Luxury Resort
At Wynn Macau, we combine the energy of a 24-hour land-based casino with the atmosphere of a refined luxury resort. Our property is located on the Macau peninsula and is designed around contemporary elegance, carefully curated art, floral displays, polished interiors and attentive personal service. Rather than operating as a standalone gaming hall, we bring casino gaming, accommodation, restaurants, bars, wellness facilities, premium shopping and entertainment together within one integrated destination. The atmosphere changes naturally throughout the property: the casino floor is energetic and gaming-focused, our hotel areas are quieter and more private, signature restaurants provide formal dining environments, and lounges create relaxed spaces for coffee or evening drinks. Our approach is centred on an in-person resort experience rather than online casino gaming or sportsbook services.
Our casino operates 24 hours a day and includes a broad selection of live table games, slot machines, electronic gaming and premium gaming areas. Traditional casino games include baccarat, blackjack, roulette, sic bo and poker-related formats, while our machine gaming areas provide a varied selection of slots and electronic games with individual stakes, rules and paytables. Private gaming salons and premium areas provide a more discreet setting for eligible guests who prefer a personalised environment. Betting limits and maximum payouts are determined by the individual table, machine or gaming area rather than through one universal casino-wide level. Casino rewards and privileges do not change the mathematical rules of the games, and gaming outcomes remain determined by the applicable game rules and chance.
Accommodation at Wynn Macau is divided between Wynn Tower and Encore Tower, with a combined total of 1,010 rooms and suites. Wynn Tower provides a selection ranging from spacious guest rooms to large one- and two-bedroom suites, while Encore Tower is composed entirely of suites and places additional emphasis on privacy and space. Our accommodation forms an important part of the overall resort experience, allowing casino visits, dining, entertainment and relaxation to be combined within the same property. Alongside the hotel towers, we provide spa and salon facilities, fitness amenities, a swimming pool and Wynn Esplanade, where internationally recognised luxury brands form part of the retail experience.
Dining is one of the defining elements of Wynn Macau. Our signature restaurants include Wing Lei, our two-Michelin-star Cantonese restaurant, and Drunken Fish, an international seafood restaurant overlooking Performance Lake. Our more relaxed dining collection includes Quente! A Sichuan Bistrô, Red 8, 99 Noodles, Tekka, Lakeside Trattoria and the limited-time Chaotianmen Hotpot concept. The range covers Cantonese, Sichuan, Northern Chinese, Japanese, Italian and international seafood cuisine, with options available from breakfast through to late-night dining. Selected restaurants are positioned close to or within casino areas and therefore apply specific age requirements, while other venues are suitable for guests of all ages.
Our principal active lounge is Cinnebar, which operates with two distinct personalities throughout the day. Daylight Roasts focuses on handcrafted coffee and speciality drinks from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, while Starlight Toasts runs from 4:00 pm to 1:00 am with music and Cantonese-inspired cocktails in a sophisticated lounge environment. Bar Cristal is another established Wynn Macau bar, known for cocktails, champagne, fine wines, whiskies and an ornate interior centred around an antique 19th-century French chandelier; it is currently closed until further notice. Drunken Fish also incorporates a Moutai-focused bar experience featuring rare expressions, Moutai cocktails and selected Chinese wines. Our current nightlife is therefore centred on lounges, cocktails, dining and social spaces rather than a dedicated nightclub.
Entertainment at Wynn Macau combines art, technology, music and theatrical presentation. Performance Lake presents recurring outdoor fountain shows using choreographed water, lighting, music and fire effects, with performances scheduled throughout the afternoon and evening. Inside the resort, the Tree of Prosperity combines a moving installation with music, light and illusion, including evening performances at regular intervals. The Encore Lobby is home to the Moon Jelly Aquarium, where translucent moon jellyfish create a quieter permanent attraction. In addition to these recurring experiences, our events calendar can include guest-chef dinners, cocktail collaborations, seasonal dining programmes, festive collections and other limited-period experiences. These entertainment elements are separate from casino gaming and form part of the broader resort environment.
Our casino loyalty programme is Red Card, a multi-tier programme designed around eligible in-person table and slot play. Members can earn points from qualifying gaming activity and redeem eligible rewards such as meals, accommodation, selected retail items, promotional gaming chips and tournament entries. Higher-tier members may receive additional privileges that can include limousine services, dedicated VIP check-in and personalised recognition benefits. Qualification, point requirements and individual privileges are governed by the current programme conditions, and we do not present a single fixed spending threshold as an automatic route to every VIP service.
We also operate Wynn Insider as a broader hospitality membership programme covering selected resort experiences. Depending on membership status and the applicable offer, privileges can include hotel benefits, restaurant discounts, priority seating and other resort-related services. Certain premium Wynn Insider levels are invitation-based and carry their own qualification and retention requirements. This programme is distinct from the casino-focused Red Card structure, allowing our hospitality and gaming recognition systems to serve different types of resort activity.
Our special offers are primarily connected with accommodation, dining and the physical resort rather than online casino deposit promotions. Packages can include breakfast with an eligible stay, extended-stay arrangements, dining privileges or seasonal hospitality elements, while limited-time culinary and entertainment events are introduced throughout the year. Casino-specific promotional rewards may also be available to eligible Red Card members under their individual programme conditions. We do not operate our core proposition around publicly advertised online welcome bonuses, free-spin packages or sportsbook promotions because Wynn Macau is fundamentally a physical casino and integrated luxury resort.
Across gaming, accommodation, dining and entertainment, our focus remains on creating a consistent resort experience with distinct environments for different parts of a visit. Guests can move from the casino floor to fine dining, a late-night lounge, a hotel suite, spa facilities, luxury shopping or one of our signature attractions without leaving the resort. This combination of round-the-clock casino gaming and extensive non-gaming facilities defines the character of Wynn Macau and allows the property to serve both dedicated casino guests and visitors whose stay centres on hospitality, restaurants and entertainment.
Frequently Asked Questions
We opened Wynn Macau to the public on 6 September 2006. The property was subsequently expanded, including additional gaming, restaurant and retail facilities. Encore at Wynn Macau opened on 21 April 2010, adding a second hotel tower built entirely around suite accommodation. The development of Encore expanded the resort without turning it into a separate casino property, so Wynn Tower and Encore Tower remain parts of the same Wynn Macau integrated resort.
No. We operate Wynn Macau and Wynn Palace as two separate integrated resorts. Wynn Macau is located on the Macau peninsula and was our first resort in the city, while Wynn Palace opened later in Cotai. Each property has its own accommodation, restaurants and entertainment facilities, so attractions associated with Wynn Palace should not automatically be assumed to be available at Wynn Macau. For example, Wynn Macau is home to the Tree of Prosperity and its own Performance Lake, while facilities such as SkyCab and Illuminarium belong to Wynn Palace.
Our casino operates under the gaming concession held by Wynn Resorts (Macau) S.A. The current concession began on 1 January 2023 and is scheduled to run until 31 December 2032. Casino operations are subject to the applicable gaming legislation, regulatory requirements and oversight governing land-based casinos. These requirements cover areas such as casino operation, authorised games, gaming equipment, access controls and responsible gaming procedures.
Guests must be at least 21 years old to enter our casino gaming areas. This restriction applies independently of the hotel and restaurant age policies, meaning a guest may be able to use appropriate non-gaming areas of the resort without being permitted onto the casino floor. Selected restaurants located within gaming areas also apply a minimum age of 21 because of their position inside the controlled casino environment. Other restaurants and resort attractions have different age policies and may welcome younger guests.
We support resort access with shuttle services on selected routes, including connections associated with major border, ferry and transport points. Shuttle arrangements can include services involving the Border Gate, ferry terminals, the Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macau Bridge, Hengqin Port and the airport, depending on the current operating schedule. Routes, departure times and stopping points can change according to transport arrangements and operational requirements. These services complement taxis and other public or private transport options available for travel to and from Wynn Macau.
